Course Overview

This seven-day course can either be taken as the first stage of our Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy, or as a standalone course for those interested in learning basic skills in hypnotherapy.

Who Should Attend?

Counsellors, psychotherapists, psychologists, life-coaches and complementary therapists, interested in adding hypnosis to their existing skills.

Anyone interested in learning basic hypnotherapy skills for personal development.

Anyone who is interested in training to become a professional hypnotherapist.

Course Content

This course is mainly focused on basic hypnotherapy assessment, hypnotic induction, and the use of suggestion; it presents a rounded basic training in traditional hypnotherapy.

· Script-Writing Exercise

· Basic Psychopathology

· Anxiety Treatment Strategies

Fees, dates and bookings

£904.75 (£770 + VAT)

Bookings can be secured with the payment of a deposit of £117.50. The remaining fees can then be split into ten monthly instalments, or paid in full prior to the start of the course. Assessment

On completion of the course, students will need to complete a series of assessment questions via our online assessment module, and this is completed from home. A certificate will then be awarded by the college.

As a standalone course, it is approved by the British Psychological Society's Learning Centre, for the purposes of continuing professional development (CPD).

Entry Requirements

Students must be aged 18 or over.

Students should have no history of criminal convictions or sanctions by professional organisations which might reflect upon their suitability to practice as a therapist.

Students should be sufficiently fluent in spoken English to engage with English-speaking clients.

Students must be in suitable mental health for training, e.g., without a history of psychotic symptoms or current mental health problems.
