Conversion Route for Hypnotherapists
This is an excellent opportunity for those already trained in hypnotherapy, to add cognitive-behavioural hypnotherapy to their existing practice.
This conversion route allows students to complete an intensive seven-day classroom training in cognitive-behavioural hypnotherapy which leads to the award of our Level 4 Diploma in Cognitive-Behavioural Hypnotherapy, recognised by REBHP and NCH for accreditation purposes.

1st - 7th August 2010, (East Croydon, South London). Final presentation (this course will not run in 2011).
This course runs from 10.15am - 6.00pm each day.
Who Should Attend?
This option is designed for people who are already qualified in hypnotherapy and hold a diploma recognised as sufficient for accreditation by a professional organisation who is a registered member of UKCHO ( www.ukcho.co.uk ), or by the GHR ( www.general-hypnotherapy-register.com ). The diploma route is, for example, ideal for people who hold the Hypnotherapy Practitioner Diploma (HPD) but are seeking a conversion route to qualify in cognitive-behavioural hypnotherapy.

- Meditation techniques in cognitive-behavioural hypnotherapy.
- Advanced hypnotic desensitisation techniques for anxiety.
- Multi-modal hypnotic exposure therapy techniques.
- Theory and practice of negative learning.
- "Alert hypnosis" induction techniques.
- Hypnotic skills training protocols.
- Rational Emotive Imagery in hypnosis.
- The "broad spectrum" armamentarium of evidence-based hypnotherapy.
- Cognitive disputation & restructuring in hypnotherapy.
- The Negative Self-Hypnosis model used in cognitive-behavioural hypnotherapy.

Assessment
Students will complete a series of home-study test questions via the college's online assessment module.
