Course Overview
This is a new level 5 hypnotherapy diploma qualification, externally verified and quality assured by NCFE, a government recognised national awarding body. The award has been designed for qualified hypnotherapists and is provided through distance learning, with the support and close supervision of an experienced hypnotherapy practitioner. This format allows students to complete the course from anywhere in the world, and to start at any time. Students are assessed on the research and design of a treatment manual for use with clients, which they can then use in their own practice.
Entry Requirements
This course is available to professionally-registered hypnotherapists holding a suitable diploma qualification consisting of a minimum of twenty-one days of classroom training. It must be accredited by an UKCHO member organisation or GHSC in the UK, or equivalent outside the UK (e.g. ACHE or NGH).
Assessment
Assessment is based upon the completion of a major project involving the design of a treatment or self-help manual for a specific issue such as social anxiety, pain management, assertiveness, panic attacks, or personal development, etc.

Distance Learning
This is a distance-learning course which requires you to complete a project consisting of researching and designing a hypnotherapy treatment manual under the supervision of your individual course tutor.
A course text book on evidence in psychological therapy will be provided by the college and included in the course fees, along with a sample copy of the main research journal in the field of hypnosis (IJCEH). However, students will be expected to reference additional books and articles relevant to their particular project topic.
Students will have access to an online course area and forums throughout the duration of their project, which will provide access to additional resources and information.
Course Fees and Dates
£522.88 (£445 + VAT at 17.5%) VAT only applies for UK based students).
Payment can be made in full in advance or split into two equal payments, one is made when booking and the second a month later.
Students can enrol at any time, and have up to twelve months to complete the project. Course materials will be posted out within twenty-one days of the receipt of payment (either the full amount or the first half).

Course Tutors
Each student will be assigned a tutor who will provide support and guidance throughout the course. Students will be required to provide regular updates on their progress to their tutor who will give feedback and guidance.
Accreditation
This qualification is externally verified by NCFE, a Government-recognised national awarding body. It has been part-mapped against the National Occupational Standards for Hypnotherapy, and assigned equivalence to Level 5 on the National Qualification Framework (NQF).
Level 5 qualifications are defined on the Government's National Qualification Framework as being equivalent to a college HND or a university foundation degree,
Level 5 qualifications recognise the ability to increase the depth of knowledge and understanding of an area of work or study to enable the formulation of solutions and responses to complex problems and situations. Learning at this level involves the demonstration of high levels of knowledge, a high level of work expertise in job roles and competence in managing and training others. Qualifications at this level are appropriate for people working as higher grade technicians, professionals or managers. Level 5 qualifications are at a level equivalent to intermediate Higher Education qualifications such as Diplomas of Higher Education, Foundation and other degrees that do not typically provide access to postgraduate programmes.
